Renaissance project reflection

Our group met our goals well and I think we did well at the start of our project and I think our group sailed pretty smoothly the rest of the way. Our whole group definitely learned how to evaluate a website to make sure it is reliable, and also we got better at our editing skills. I learned a lot through the 7 weeks we had to make our project and I learned a lot about Renaissance jobs, which was our project. I learned that the only currency was gold, silver and copper, and that spy’s were usually women. Even though I think I learned about time and organization I don’t think I learned as much as the last project. I learned more about iMovie and I think that I have learned more about setting up a scene and what a good script should look like.

Our group used a variety of good resources, but we didn’t need that many to put together our information, because the references that we used were very factual. We did a good job making sure our references are reliable enough to put into a movie as facts. Our group did make a bibliography with the website that Rob gave us on our last project which is very helpful.

Our group got a along very well and that’s why we finished our project well. I think having the tri-pod for our camera was very nice because otherwise our movie would be a lot shakier. I think there wasn’t really a leader, but we would all switch off being leader without knowing so we all could get are ideas to make each scene. Everyone made a great contribution and we all did about the same amount of work.

I don’t think I would make the same type of project with a different topic, because I think movies aren’t as factual as a documentary. If I were to d something differently we would put info about trade and economy, which we didn’t do which we were going to do. I would make a document instead of a movie because it’s more factual.

Most people thought that our movie wasn’t factual and I agree, our group mainly just focused on the movie and that wasn’t enough. Also we didn’t talk about the economy or trade, which was also our goal.
